Yes, indeed. And (at least speaking for myself) when it's dark and there is a feeling of undoing or unraveling around us, sometimes we need to create, make, glue, write, construct, build. <3

Your poem reminds me of the older Arlington (Va.) houses, several of which I lived in. The closets wee very small, because, apparently, when the houses were built, people had few clothes. When renovating the last townhouse I lived in, I made a point of asking for walk-ins but somehow, the builder neglected doing that part of the plan. He did, however, give me two wonderful bathrooms.

Great point about there being fewer clothes for the closets. Have you been to the Rhode Island mansions? Now *those* closets were made for lots of clothing!! :) Amazing walk-ins like rooms in their own right.
